6 steps to a perfectly clean bathroom in less than 15 minutes

The bathroom of your home is one of the places you probably visit daily, and as such, it needs constant cleaning and maintenance. Of course, you cannot just ‘pick up’ there and consider the job done. You have to ensure that you get the place clean by investing some time. Thankfully, that time doesn’t need to be all that much, as long as you follow a few steps. In the following guide, we will outline what you need to do to keep the bathroom in presentable condition. 

Get the items you need first 

To address the cleaning of your bathroom, you will first need to get a basket, bag or box, for storing clutter inside it. Next up, some of the cleaning tools you should get include a mop, a hamper, disinfectant wipes, toilet brush, glass cleaner and toilet cleaner. Get all of the supplies together. It is a good idea to stack everything with you right from the start, to save yourself time. You don’t want to have to constantly go from the bathroom to some other room, because that will take you too much time and the purpose of this guide is to allow you to clean in 15 minutes. 

Pick up all of the dirty clothes and towels left in the bathroom

Part of the clutter in the bathroom takes the form of towels and clothes, left there by people from your household. So gather all of the stuff in a basket or whatever container you got and put them in the hamper. Next up, address the other clutter in the room. Before you can do some cleaning, you need to remove the items that get in the way. If there are items that belong in another room, separate them from the rest and return them later. 

Time to get a clean bathroom

Grab your disinfecting wipes and use some on the sink. And while it is true that disinfecting wipes aren’t the best solution to use, your goal now is to clean the bathroom fast. In other words, you want to make the area presentable, and this is an excellent tool to use for this purpose. Wipe the sink and the tub area, and don’t forget to wipe the faucets and showerhead too. That ought to remove the more pressing stains. 

Spray and wipe the outside part of the toilet

Another area of great importance is the toilet. First, wipe down the visible grime by using a disinfectant wipe. Next, apply spray if needed. Since you are doing a quick cleaning session, it is a good idea to leave the thorough cleaning of the inside part of the toilet for some other time. 

Wipe down the mirror using the right solution

If you are used to cleaning with a glass cleaning solution, feel free to use that. But bear in mind that you will get very nice results by applying vinegar. Vinegar is a natural ingredient, which is readily available in your pantry. Mix equal parts of it and water and spray on the mirror. Remember, the mirror is an essential part of your home, so it makes sense to clean it well. 

Sweep the floor 

Finally, you should sweep the floor. Focus on the main traffic area, and leave the hard-to-reach areas for later. This should take you no more than a few minutes.
